# Rename a voice

`PATCH https://api.eesi.ai/v1/voices/{voice_id}`

Rename a cloned voice. The name is the only mutable field on purpose:
everything else on the row describes the recording, and a voiceprint whose
reference audio could be swapped after consent was attested would make the
attestation meaningless.

Parameters:

- `voice_id` (path, required)

Request body: application/json.

- `name` (string, required)

Responses: 200, 400, 404.
